Supercell is about to start making a profit from Squad Busters
The release of Squad Busters became the largest in Supercell's history, company representatives stated in an interview with GamesIndustry. In less than a week, the game amassed over 30 million downloads and is quickly moving towards profitability.

The earnings of Squad Busters have not been officially disclosed. According to data from the AppMagic service, the game's revenue from IAP has exceeded $15.3 million.
Supercell noted that the company had very high expectations for Squad Busters. The release of the previous project, Brawl Stars, was back in 2018, and since then, Supercell has canceled six games that reached soft launch. In the company's opinion, Squad Busters is capable of engaging audiences of various ages and also attracting users to other Supercell games.
The company compares Squad Busters to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. and does not rule out that the game will develop in a similar direction. Currently, Squad Busters features only heroes from other Supercell games, but characters from external IPs may appear in the future.
