Astrocade AI has obtained $12 million through seed funding.

This capital will support its generative AI social gaming platform, now in closed alpha, that allows users to design and adjust games.

The funding round attracted backing from AME Cloud Ventures, NVIDIA Ventures, and Venture Reality Fund.

Notable individual investors include former Unity CEO John Riccitiello, Google chairman Eric Schmidt, Glu CEO Niccolo De Masi, Roblox founder and CEO David Baszucki, and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang.

Astrocade was established in late 2022 by CEO Amir Sadeghian, CTO Ali Sadeghian, and CSO Fei-Fei Li.

"The founding team of Astrocade AI demonstrates a remarkable fusion of technical skill, creativity, and steadfast commitment," commented De Masi.

"Their unique strategy focuses on user interaction and experience, setting the stage for the next generation of immersive gaming."
