Apple bought the Mira startup. He makes AR headsets for the US Army and Super Nintendo World parks

The AR startup Mira has joined Apple, The Verge reports. The deal took place the day after Apple unveiled the Vision Pro augmented reality headset.

Apple confirmed the purchase to The Verge, but did not disclose its size or terms.

Mira specializes in the production of AR headsets. As the publication noted, at one time Mira signed several contracts with the US Army: with the Air Force for an unknown amount and the Navy for $ 702.3 thousand. Military pilots use gadgets, for example, to view instructions for equipment.

Mira also collaborates with Super Nintendo World theme parks and makes AR headsets for interactive Mario Kart rides.
