Most of the British public supports the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard
Three-quarters of the British public are in favor of the purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft. This was announced by the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) after examining over 2.6 thousand letters sent to him.
According to the regulator, in their letters, supporters of the deal noted that such a purchase would help Microsoft compete better with Sony and Nintendo. They also doubt that the corporation will make Call of Duty and other Activision Blizzard games exclusives, because of this the publisher’s income will fall.
Recall that the CMA should announce the final decision on the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard by March 1, 2023.
