Nordisk Games has completely bought Supermassive Games — developers Until Dawn and The Quarry
Supermassive Games is now wholly owned by Nordisk Games, the gaming division of the Danish film company Nordisk Film. It is unknown how much the takeover cost, and the terms of the deal are not reported.
Nordisk Games acquired 30.7% of the studio’s shares for an unknown amount in March last year. According to the management of Supermassive Games, now it will be easier for her to develop under the full control of the company. In particular, she has already secured a promise to strengthen support for developers.
Supermassive Games opened in 2008. Her portfolio includes a series of interactive horror films The Dark Pictures Anthology, as well as horror films Until Dawn and The Quarry. The studio team consists of about 300 people.
