The German authorities have invested €5.6 million in a number of game studios. Among them are the developers of Deponia
The German Ministry of Economy regularly invests in local game developers. According to German media, since March it has invested about €27 million in video games. The other day, the country’s authorities announced that they had made new investments.
€5.6 million was divided among several startups and three studios that have appeared on the market for a long time. In particular, the money received:
▪️Daedalic Entertainment (authors Deponia) — over €2 million for the development of a game codenamed It’s magic;
▪️Studio Fizbin (authors of The Inner World) — €1.3 million for the development of the action bagel Project: Kokidon.
▪️CipSoft (authors of the LiteBringer blockchain game) — over €1 million for the development of the zombie survival Persist Online.
