Kongregate and Immutable X will issue grants to the authors of blockchain games. The size of the fund is $40 million
The companies announced that all payments will be made in the form of IMX tokens. They have not disclosed the full terms on which they will support the developers. But apparently, as a result of the deal, sponsored blockchain games will appear on the new version of the Kongregate platform.
Kongregate also promised that game developers for the updated platform will be able to count on the blockchain SDK, community building services and consultations on game design and tokenomics.
Recall that Kongregate opened in 2006. She specializes mainly in mobile and browser projects. Recently, the company decided to move away from traditional gaming by taking up blockchain games. It is expected that the relaunch of the platform will take place during 2022.
