Investors have invested $36.8 million in a metaverse startup from Snap

The startup is called BUD. It was launched in 2019 and is known primarily for the eponymous social sandbox with 3D avatars.

The key investor was the venture fund Sequoia Capital India. Together with him, NetEase, ClearVue Partners and Northern Light Venture Capital participated in the financing round. At the moment, the total investment received by BUD is $60 million.
