Riot Games has bought a minority stake in Statespace, the developer of Aim Lab

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. Under the terms of the agreement, Aim Lab will now become the official training ground for Valorant — there shooter users will be able to practice shooting.

As Riot Games added, in the future, Aim Lab may earn platforms for its other games. For example, for the mobile League of Legends: Wild Rift. The company also wants to develop a number of training tools in cooperation with Statespace.

Statespace representatives stated that the deal with Riot Games will not affect the existing sites in Aim Lab (for Rainbow Six Siege, Escape from Tarkov, etc.) and will not affect the work of the startup itself.
