Eric Seifert launched a $10 million investment fund. Among its partners is Supercell

Marketing expert Eric Seufert has opened an investment fund for $10 million, Business Insider reports. The money will be used to develop mobile startups related to advertising and content creation.

The initiative was supported by 38 investors, including top managers of Gamejam and Huuuge Games, as well as Supercell. In addition, Ari Paparo, the former director of Google advertising Products, joined the foundation’s partners.

The foundation’s predecessor was the MDM Investment Syndicate initiative. It was a group in Slack, in which Seifert shared with its investor participants information about startups wishing to raise funds.

The group was launched in September 2020. In nine months, it conducted ten transactions and grew to 400 participants. Despite this result, Seifert felt that it was unsafe to share startup papers with such a large community.

In the summer of 2021, he closed MDM Investment Syndicate in order to launch a full-fledged Heracles Capital fund based on existing contacts in the fall of the same year. Its formation was completed by April 2022.

To date, the fund has already invested in 14 different projects related to mobile technologies. For example, Laguna Games studio, which deals with blockchain games, received funding.

“The foundation’s motto is to invest in the future of the mobile industry. I believe that mobile is the dominant platform of our time, and I don’t think that will change,” Seifert told Business Insider.
