Koch Media has acquired 100% of the shares of the developer Flying Wild Hog.
The amount will be paid in cash by Supernova Capital, which has owned a Polish studio since 2019.
The company will also be able to receive an additional $7.1 million in Class B Embracer shares upon reaching the agreed targets over the next five years. The takeover should be completed today, November 18. Thanks to the deal, the Swedish holding plans to expand its portfolio of AA games. Embracer Group also hopes to ensure growth in the Polish gaming market, which the company calls one of the most dynamically developing. Now Flying Wild Hog is working on four projects at once, including Shadow Warrior 3. She also has a new game in development for the publisher Focus Home, a multiplayer action-RPG that the studio is making together with the creators of RuneScape, and one yet to be announced title.
