Finnish studio Armada Interactive has closed, despite an investment of $ 10 million
Armada Interactive, founded by former Remedy and Crytek executives, has declared bankruptcy. Over the four years of its existence, the company was able to attract $10 million in investments.Earlier this month, the Armada Interactive website also stopped working.
According to Pocket Gamer, before its closure, the studio was working on competitive match-3 games.
Armada Interactive was founded in 2016 by people from Remedy, BioWare, Crytek and Seriously. Almost immediately, they received investments of $3 million, after which they were able to attract another $7 million in 2017.
However, there was not a single successful game in the company’s portfolio. Her debut project Quantum Siege, the soft launch of which took place in May 2017, was closed in April 18th.
