Level-5 acquired the company of the author of the Mega Man series

Japanese game publisher Level-5 bought Comcept studio, founded by the creator of the Mega Man series Keiji Inafune.

As a result of the deal, the companies merged into a structure called Level-5 Comcept, which positions itself as a new brand in the video game industry.

The company’s staff consists of 15 people, most of whom previously worked at Comcept.

It is stated that the first Level-5 Comcept game will be the Dragon Colonies battler, which should be released on iOS and Android next year.

Comcept developer studio was founded in 2010 after Keiji Inafune quit Capcom.

Comcept’s latest works include the Mighty No.9 platformer and the action adventure ReCore.
