The company notes that it has expertise, technological infrastructure and other necessary tools.

“I am pleased to launch Xsolla Capital, because I have always been partial to the gaming industry and was looking for ways to help small, independent game developers succeed in their business,” said Alexander Agapitov, founder and CEO of Xsolla.

Developers will have access to Xsolla Capital funds in exchange for royalties, which will be transferred to the fund owners from the proceeds from the sale of games sponsored by them.

Xsolla was founded in 2006 by Russian Alexander Agapitov in Perm. In 2010, the company’s headquarters moved to California. The company owns an electronic distribution and payment system, as well as a number of services designed for game developers.
