In the first project, Futurefly promised to combine a messaging app and mobile games.

In the messenger from the Finnish studio, users will be able to create 3D avatars, send animations to each other and take part in mini-games.

The leading investor was the European venture fund Visionplus Fund. Also, the money, according to the VentureBeat resource, came from the Finnish Technology and Innovation Fund.

What’s more interesting: Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and Snapchat have invested in the startup. The studio’s management noted that the investment from these companies will be not only money, but also their “unprecedented experience” in creating messengers.

Recall that the Futurefly startup was launched in May 2015 by the former head of the trademark development department at Remedy Entertainment, Oskari Hakkinen.
