GREE has fallen in love with indie developers

As part of its current strategy of active penetration into Western markets, which we wrote about no later than yesterday, the Japanese giant GREE is launching a new program under the slogan GREE Loves Indies. Its target audience is independent mobile game developers from the United States.

Interested developers can take part in monthly “Indie of the Month” contests, the winners of which will receive support from GREE for 4-6 weeks during the pre-release period and directly at launch.

Support includes assistance in optimizing the application, integration with the GREE platform, PR campaigns, as well as assistance in solving issues of monetization and user retention.
