The Convergence indie showcase, hosted by influencers, makes its return today, spotlighting 30 new games

Convergence, a showcase for indie games organized by prominent game influencers and streamers, presents its third iteration today. The event will highlight 30 forthcoming games with some world premieres among them. An additional 28 games are part of the pre-show lineup, as revealed by host Fourth Floor Creative.

Influencers Jessie Cox and Dodger will lead the event, with live gameplay streaming by creators such as ChilledChaos, Laimu, TayderTot, Yenkoes, Preach, BearBoo, Cheebiez, Shakey, and The Hot Cross. The show is set to start at 7.30 PM UK time (11.30 AM Pacific Time).

Featured in the lineup are games like MOUSE P.I. For Hire by Fumi Games/PlaySide Studios, DenshAttack! from Undercoders/Fireshine Games, and How Many Dudes? from Butterscotch Shenanigans. Participating publishers and developers include Secret Mode, Kwalee, and Super Rare Games.

The broadcast will be available on Convergence's official channels and additionally streamed on host channels, as well as showcased on IGN.com (run by IGN Entertainment, parent of GamesIndustry.biz) and on Steam through partner Secret Mode. The event reaches an audience of 1.5 million gamers, according to Fourth Floor CEO Rich Keith in a press release.

Scheduled for today, Convergence is among the initial digital showcases to occur throughout the year, a trend that gained traction during the pandemic. Upcoming events include the return of Galaxies, Six One Indie, and The PC Gaming Show.
