WN Abu Dhabi '26 is now accepting applications for the game exhibition and indie pitch

In three weeks, on February 11-12, a business event for game developers and publishers, WN Abu Dhabi’26, will take place in Abu Dhabi. On the first day of the event, besides other activities, there will be a game showcase and an indie pitch—a presentation with project reviews by experts. Applications are currently being accepted.

Showcase

This year, the game showcase will be supported by GEM Capital.

Independent developers can express their interest in participating in the showcase until February 6, inclusive. However, the earlier you submit an application, the higher the chance to attend the event—spots in the showcase may fill up before the deadline.

To have their application approved, teams must have:

• a working game build (at least a vertical slice or alpha version);
• gameplay video;
• a project presentation.

Participation in the showcase is free. Upon application approval, developers will receive one free STANDARD PASS ticket for WN Abu Dhabi’26, granting access to the first day of the event. They will also have the opportunity to qualify for the indie pitch.

Indie Pitch

At the indie pitch, young teams will present their games to industry experts. Developers can briefly talk about their projects and demonstrate gameplay.

Immediately following their presentations, developers will receive feedback—experts will provide detailed reviews of each project and share advice on what can be improved.

As with the showcase, participation in the indie pitch is entirely free. The selection results will be announced after the application period ends, i.e., after February 6.
