The "Gaming Industry" conference is accepting applications for the game exhibition and indie pitch in Moscow

On October 16, at the Moscow conference "Game Industry", a large-scale game exhibition will take place, alongside a presentation with project reviews — the indie pitch. Organizers are currently accepting applications from developers.

Showcase

You can apply for the exhibition until October 13. However, the earlier you apply, the better your chances of getting into the event — exhibition spots might run out before the deadline.

To have their application approved, developers must have:

  • a working game build (at least a vertical slice or alpha version);
  • gameplay video;
  • a project presentation.

Developers will receive one complimentary "Standard" format conference ticket, which includes access to the pre-party on October 15. They will also have the chance to participate in the indie pitch selection. More on that below.

Indie Pitch

At the indie pitch, developers can showcase their games to industry experts. During the review, they will receive professional feedback and practical advice on how to improve their projects.

This time, the indie pitch jury will include HeroCraft's Business Development Manager Daniil Kolesnikov, Mirra Games' Business Development Manager Arseny Saprykin, and Roman Kochetkov, an expert from the Internet Development Institute's Game and Software Product Support Department.

The requirements for games in the indie pitch are almost the same as for the exhibition: it is important to have gameplay video and presentation. However, the application deadline is slightly earlier — October 9. The results of the indie pitch selection will be announced after this date.

Participation in both the exhibition and the indie pitch is free.

"Ask the Expert"

Additionally, visitors to Moscow's "Game Industry" can consult with experts about their games in a special area, aptly named "Ask the Expert." This is overseen by the educational project WN Academy.

Experts will conduct 15-minute mini case studies, providing specific guidance on what to focus on, what should be changed, and which direction to proceed. Various aspects will be discussed: from technical product details to marketing strategies.
