The Swiss indie studio Wicked Games has closed down

Another game studio has ceased to exist. It has been announced that Wicked Games, which was working on the creature-collecting MMO Spherix, has closed down.

Wicked Games did not publicly announce its closure, but its employees posted about it on social media. The studio's website is no longer operational. The reason for the closure has not been disclosed, but it is likely that Wicked Games did not survive the crisis in the gaming industry.

According to LinkedIn, there were about 15 employees at Wicked Games at the time of its closure.

Wicked Games was founded in 2022. Spherix was supposed to be its debut game, but the project never reached release.
