Adult Swim has removed four additional indie games from its roster, attributing the decision to the unavailability of the developers to assume the role of publisher

Adult Swim is set to remove several indie games from their lineup, including titles like Mega Coin Squad, Super House of Dead Ninjas, Traverser, and Zenzizenzic.

According to notifications shared on Steam pages for these games, the company stated that due to "changes at Warner Bros. Discovery," it could no longer continue as the publisher and needed to "shut down" the games.

The former publisher explained, "Adult Swim is no longer able to continue as publisher for this game, and the developer is not available to take over as publisher at this time."

"As a result, [game name] will be shut down on July 15th, 2024. Thanks for playing," they added.

In May, Warner Bros. Discovery announced it was returning ownership of some titles to their developers.

Developers like Landon Podbielski of Duck Game and Super Mega Team of Rise & Shine acknowledged receiving notice of ownership reversion. However, Bitmap Bureau Ltd, creators of Super House of Dead Ninjas, noted they hadn't been contacted.

Bitmap Bureau responded to social media inquiries, stating the team remains "active under a new name" and is eager to sustain Super House of Dead Ninjas.

"We did reach out a couple of times but didn't receive a reply," the team conveyed in another post on X. "Though we've heard of another potential lead, we've just been too busy to pursue it - guess we'd better get a move on!"
