Employees of King are threatening to go on strike due to a conflict with management

As reported by Mobilegamer, the Swedish unions Sveriges Ingenjörer and Unionen, which include over a hundred King employees, recently notified the company of their plans to strike. The reason for this is management's refusal to sign a collective bargaining agreement with the staff — a document that regulates the number of standard working hours per week, overtime, rules for dismissal, available benefits, and many other labor nuances.
Activists informed King's top managers that if they do not reconsider, protests will begin as early as next Friday, September 25th. The strike is expected to affect King offices in Stockholm and Malmö. According to the unions, they do not want to escalate the conflict, but the company's decision left them "no other choice."
King's management has not commented on the possibility of a strike.
In August, King President Todd Green told the media that the company did not support the idea of a collective bargaining agreement because it believes the current conditions are more advantageous for employees. He made his statement a year after mass layoffs in which about 200 people were affected.
