Crystal Dynamics laid off several dozen employees
Crystal Dynamics Studio has announced layoffs for the third time this year. This time, it has parted ways with 30 employees.

This time, the reason cited is restructuring. Crystal Dynamics explained that it undertook business realignments to "optimize the future production" of the new Tomb Raider installment. Additionally, these changes were deemed necessary to improve the work on upcoming games.
According to Crystal Dynamics' statement, the layoffs affected employees from various departments. The studio has promised to offer support to all those affected.
Previously, Crystal Dynamics conducted layoffs at the end of August, a month and a half after the cancellation of the Perfect Dark remake, in which it was involved. The studio also reduced its workforce in March.
Overall, Crystal Dynamics employs more than 300 people.
