Media: Heart Machine underwent the second round of layoffs this month
Heart Machine studio has conducted another round of layoffs, reports the Game Developer portal, citing posts by the affected employees on social media.

The last time layoffs at Heart Machine were reported was in early October when the studio officially confirmed them. This time, no official statements have been made. However, according to Game Developer, the current layoffs are indeed a new round, not a continuation of the previous one.
According to Game Developer, pessimistic sentiments prevail in the studio. Some employees fear that Heart Machine may further reduce its staff soon.
"Heart Machine just laid off a bunch more people, and the decision took effect immediately. I don't know if anyone from the team developing Possessor(s) will remain after the game's release on November 11. That's game development for you," commented a former Heart Machine employee.
The exact number of people who lost their jobs as a result of the layoffs at Heart Machine is unknown.
