The HR Summit hosted by GamesIndustry.biz is set to take place again in October

The GamesIndustry.biz HR Summit is set to return for its third consecutive year at London's Royal Institution.

The conference, scheduled for a full day on Thursday, October 2nd, will conclude with the presentation of the 2025 Best Places To Work Awards. Early Bird tickets are currently available for £130 (+ fees).

The event will address key challenges faced by HR professionals amidst the dynamic conditions of the gaming industry.

Notable confirmed speakers include Nicky Ormrod from Sega Europe, and Simon Court along with Dan Bobby from Value Partnership, with additional speakers to be announced.

The presentation titled 'SEGA – Recode for Growth' will discuss Sega Europe's collaboration with Value Partnership during crucial times in the company's journey.

Ormond remarks, "In the period of 2023/24, SEGA Europe encountered crossroads, demanding a renewed path to positive growth. Building trust, confidence, and clarity in our goals with Japan, our people, and each other was the initial phase of our Recode initiative."

Court adds, "The Recode for Growth at SEGA required a transformation in mindset to reawaken the spirit of SEGA, focusing on the essentials like players, studios, partners, and the IP. We crafted a new strategy, narrative, and culture to guide us forward."

Simon Court, also an author of the leadership book Founder's Legacy, offers a free copy to the first 100 ticket buyers. In the book's foreword, Court's influence in Miniclip's evolution from a startup to a polished company is highlighted by Rob Small, its founder and president.

Attendees can expect roundtable discussions, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities throughout the day.

The event is sponsored by Amiqus. For sponsorship information, reach out via George.Corner@gamesindustry.biz.
