Andrew Wilson's annual salary is 260 times the median salary at EA
Electronic Arts (EA) reported the salary of its CEO, Andrew Wilson, for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. The amount is impressive—$30.5 million.
For comparison, the median salary at EA during this period was much lower—$117,300. Additionally, it decreased by 21% compared to the previous year, while Wilson's salary increased by 19% or nearly $5 million.
It's important to note that his salary includes various bonuses, and for top executives, it also comprises shares. The overwhelming portion of Wilson's compensation is not actual cash but instead EA stock valued at $25.7 million. His base salary is more modest, though still a seven-figure amount, at $1.3 million.
Recall that in 2021, shareholders criticized EA for what they considered to be excessively high compensation for Wilson, which then exceeded $39 million. Following this, his compensation was reduced, but it is now nearing peak levels again.
