There may have been layoffs at the studio behind Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2

The Chinese Room studio may have recently laid off some employees. This conclusion was reached by GamesIndustry after examining developers' LinkedIn profiles.

Journalists noticed that in recent days, at least 10 employees from The Chinese Room updated their profiles to indicate they are seeking new employment. Among them are a level designer and a lighting artist.

In response to GamesIndustry's inquiry, official representatives from The Chinese Room stated that the studio would share information about the ongoing changes in the coming weeks. However, they did not directly confirm the layoffs.

The Chinese Room is a British team that is part of Sumo Group and is known for games like Still Wakes the Deep, Dear Esther, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2. According to LinkedIn, the studio currently has around 80 employees.
