10:10 Games has been reportedly impacted by employee layoffs

Approximately 20 employees at 10:10 Games, the team behind Funko Fusion, have reportedly been laid off.
The information, initially reported by Insider Gaming, indicates that this decision was due to Funko Fusion's failure both commercially and critically.
It has been suggested by sources that the staff learned about the layoffs around mid-January, with some finding out during their holidays, as the studio faced difficulties securing funding for upcoming projects.
Reports indicate that only minimal severance packages, legally required, were offered along with compensation for unused vacation time.
The publication GamesIndustry.biz has contacted 10:10 Games seeking more details.
Founded in Warrington in 2021 by experienced developers Jon Burton and Arthur Parsons from Traveller's Tales, 10:10 Games released its debut game, Funko Fusion, in September 2024.
