Media: The creators of Star Citizen have conducted new layoffs. The game's revenue is already over $750 million
In the past six months, the creators of Star Citizen raised an additional $50 million through their crowdfunding efforts. As a result, by the morning of November 29th, the game's funding reached $751.3 million. However, reports suggest that things are not going well at Cloud Imperium Games.

According to a former employee, Cloud Imperium Games laid off numerous people this week. They claim that the dismissed employees did not receive any compensation and were previously "forced to work to exhaustion without even being thanked." This last comment likely refers to the crunch periods in October when Cloud Imperium Games temporarily required employees to work seven days a week to prepare for the CitizenCon festival.
Insider Tom Henderson partially confirmed this information. According to his sources, Cloud Imperium Games indeed carried out some layoffs recently, but they were relatively small. Around a dozen people, primarily from the testing department, were affected—about 1% of the studio's staff.
Cloud Imperium Games has not publicly announced these layoffs.
