Rare and Dlala will engage in a conversation about leadership amid transformational periods during the upcoming GamesIndustry.biz HR Summit

A panel featuring leaders from Rare and Dlala is set to address strategies for guiding development teams through challenging periods.

This discussion will serve as the closing segment of the GamesIndustry.biz HR Summit, scheduled for September 18 at the Royal Institution in London. Tickets are now available.

The panel will include Craig Duncan, head of Rare, and Harriet Manson, along with Dlala's CEO Aj Grand-Scrutton and COO Gemma Foster. They will explore the swift changes affecting the gaming sector, including ongoing economic, political, and global uncertainties. Their conversation aims to provide insights on effective leadership, drawing from Rare’s experience in the AAA space and Dlala’s perspective within the indie context, focusing on how to help employees manage transitions.

In addition to leadership in turbulent times, the summit will cover a wide range of topics, including mental health, neurodiversity, AI, remote work, and much more.

The event promises a comprehensive agenda that not only features informative talks but also breakout sessions, networking opportunities, meals, and culminates in the 2024 Best Places To Work Awards. Check the latest schedule here.

Confirmed speakers include notable figures such as AJ Grand-Scrutton (Dlala), Andy Coley (Games Studio Training), Craig Duncan (Rare), Eimear Slattery (RKD), Emma Smith (Hestia Talent), and many others, with more to be announced.

Last year's summit took place at BAFTA and saw a complete sell-out. Tickets are available here.
