Employees of the Bethesda division in Montreal decided to unionize
There are more and more unions in the gaming industry. This time, developers from Bethesda Game Studios Montreal have announced their desire to form a labor union.

Activists wrote on social media that they have filed an application with the Quebec Labor Board. If successful, their union will become part of the larger Communications Workers of America (CWA).
According to the developers, the union will help make Bethesda Game Studios Montreal a more comfortable place to work. Employees will have less worry about potential layoffs and other issues. All of this will have a positive impact on game development.
Microsoft has not publicly commented on Bethesda Game Studios Montreal's decision. In May, it promised the CWA not to interfere with employees of ZeniMax Media and its subsidiaries organizing unions.
