Outsourcing company Lionbridge Technologies has been accused of illegal terminations. A total of 160 people were affected

Lionbridge Technologies is an American company that assists with content localization and software testing. The Communications Workers of America (CWA) reported that the company recently unlawfully terminated its entire team in Boise after local employees decided to unionize.

According to the CWA, the company did not directly tell the terminated employees that they were being laid off due to union activities. The official reason cited was the completion of the project. However, teams from Mexico and Poland, who were working on the same project along with the Boise employees, kept their jobs.

The CWA filed a complaint against Lionbridge Technologies with the National Labor Relations Board. Lionbridge Technologies has not publicly commented on the complaint.

It is not specified which project the Lionbridge Technologies division in Boise was working on. According to the company's website, the teams in Boise, Mexico City, and Warsaw specialize in video games. Over time, they have collaborated with Microsoft, Square Enix, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Discovery, miHoYo, and many other developers.
