The authors of Unforetold: Witchstone fired most of the employees and froze the development of the game
Canadian indie studio Spearhead Games has announced that it is forced to say goodbye to a significant part of the staff. She made this decision because of financial problems.

Spearhead Games co-founders Atul Mehra and Malik Boukhira wrote on social media that the last few weeks have been very difficult. The studio's financial forecasts did not come true, and it found itself in a difficult situation.
Spearhead Games management promised to support the dismissed employees. The studio has signed a contract with companies that help with employment, professional development and psychological support. Mehra and Bukhira also called on other Canadian studios to consider the resumes of former Spearhead Games employees, if there is a place in their staff.
After carefully analyzing everything, Spearhead Games decided not only to reduce staff, but also to indefinitely suspend work on the role-playing game Unforetold: Witchstone. She will receive the latest patch on March 8th.
