The winners of the "GameDev HR Awards 2023" were Playkot and Ravenage
The recruitment agency WN Talents has announced the results of the voting for the "Game Dev HR Awards 2023". The winners, based on the number of votes received, are the game studio Playkot and the publisher Ravenage.
This year, companies were recognized in three categories.
"Best Support"
The award is given to the company recognized as a leader in addressing employees' work-related, psychological, financial, and everyday issues.
The laureate is Playkot, known for the social network city builder "Supercity" and the mobile battler Age of Magic. Founded in Saint Petersburg, the company is now primarily based in Limassol and Belgrade. Its employee count is approaching 400 people.
"Best Growth Opportunities"
This award goes to the company deemed most effective in helping employees develop and build their careers within its walls, according to voters.
The winner is the Georgian indie game publisher Ravenage, founded and led by Elena Morina. This young company focuses on launching niche projects from independent developers, providing them with financial support among other things.
The year 2023, judging by its releases, has been successful for the publisher. It launched eight projects on Steam alone, with the majority receiving positive reviews from users.
"Best Employer"
In this category, voters were asked to choose the most attractive company for employment.
The award for "Best Employer" goes to the previously mentioned developer of free-to-play service products — Playkot.
