Perhaps in the summer, Paradox Interactive cut 80% of the staff of The Lamplighters League developer studio
On October 10, Paradox Interactive announced the failed sales of the tactical game The Lamplighters League. After that, the network recalled that in July the company fired some of the employees of Harebrained Schemes, the studio that developed the title.
One of the former employees of Harebrained Schemes wrote on the ResetEra forum that Paradox Interactive had dissolved about 80% of the studio. He did not say how many people it was. According to the Game Industry Layoffs portal, about 40 employees were fired from the studio in July.
In a comment from PC Gamer, Paradox Interactive confirmed that it had carried out "significant" layoffs at Harebrained Schemes over the summer, but declined to give figures.
