Former BioWare employees have sued the company over low termination Payments

Seven BioWare veterans have appealed to a Canadian court. They accused the company of "unreasonably mistreatment" during the dismissal.

The developers claim that BioWare fired them for no reason. In this case, the company was legally obliged to pay them a severance payment in the amount of a monthly salary for each year of work, but BioWare assigned a much smaller amount. On average, retired veterans have worked at BioWare for 14 years.

According to the plaintiffs, BioWare also forbade them to post examples of work on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf in their portfolio — this is stipulated in the non-disclosure agreement. According to the developers, this condition makes it difficult to find employment.

The dismissed veterans demand to appoint an adequate severance pay and compensate for moral damage.
