The screenwriter of the Dragon Age series was fired from BioWare after 17 years of work

Among those who fell under the reduction in BioWare was Mary Kirby, a screenwriter who has worked in the studio since 2006.

Kirby participated in the creation of all the main games of the Dragon Age series. In particular, she has written for games such characters as Varric Tetras, Loghain McTeer, Stan and Merrill. Kirby also worked on Star Wars: The Old Republic and Anthem.

John Renish, who has held the position of technical director at BioWare for the last three years, also announced his dismissal. He collaborated with the studio for eight years.

Recall that a total of 50 people were fired from BioWare.
