Hi-Rez Studios laid off 10% of employees and split into three divisions
Hi-Rez Studios, which has Paladins, SMITE and Rogue Company games in its portfolio, has changed its business structure. She announced that she had divided her studios between three divisions.
▪️The Red Beard Games studio has joined the existing division of Titan Forge Games. Together they will be responsible for the SMITE franchise.
▪️First Watch Games has joined the Evil Mojo Games division. First of all, the studios will focus on the development of the Paladins franchise. They will also continue to support Realm Royale and Rogue Company games.
▪️The RallyHere Interactive studio, opened in early June, has become a separate division. She will continue to work on a platform to support game services.
Hi-Rez Studios also announced that from now on it will publish its own games. In addition, the company changed its name. Now she will work under the name Hi-Rez Ventures.
As part of the restructuring, the company laid off 10% of its employees. That’s just under 30 people.
