Fingersoft employees were allowed to work six hours a day, but for a lower salary
A year and a half ago, Finnish Fingersoft launched an experiment. She offered willing employees to temporarily work either four days a week for eight hours, or five days a week for six hours. The second option turned out to be much more popular. Now it will be available in the studio on a permanent basis.
There were some nuances. Fingersoft employees who decide to work six hours a day will receive 90% of their salary.
In total, half of the Fingersoft employees participated in the experiment (i.e., about 55 people). According to the studio management, the productivity of people who chose a six-hour working day remained at the same level as before the experiment.
