The management of Proletariat did not voluntarily recognize the developers' union
Already the third studio in Activision Blizzard faced problems when creating a trade union. The management of Proletariat has announced that it will not voluntarily recognize the association of employees. It demanded that the developers first conduct an anonymous vote through the US National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
In its statement, the management indicated that it has always supported employees, but the decision to create a trade union is too serious, and therefore it should not be rushed. The heads of the studio also stressed that each developer should have the right to vote and the opportunity to share their point of view on what is happening.
Recall that the employees of Proletariat announced the creation of a trade union at the end of last December. Previously, the unions were organized by testers from Raven Software and Blizzard Albany.
