Details of layoffs at Playtika offices in Minsk and Warsaw have emerged

Recently it became known that Playtika decided to reduce 15% of the staff or about 615 people in Europe, Israel and the USA. Portal dev.by found out how layoffs took place in the Minsk and Warsaw offices.

According to the employees of Playtika, everything was very fast: on December 12, the company’s management announced the upcoming cuts at the general meeting, and on the same day employees were massively denied contract extensions. Officially, the layoffs will end on February 28 — then the contracts (already former) will expire employees, however, managers promised that there would be no “second wave of layoffs.”

It is unknown how many people were fired in Minsk and Warsaw. But it is reported that both ordinary employees and top managers were hit. Some were offered a transfer to another team. As compensation, Playtika offered the affected employees a payment of several salaries and an annual bonus.
