NLRB has allowed testers from Blizzard Albany to vote for the creation of a union

Previously, Activision Blizzard insisted that all employees of Blizzard Albany Studio (formerly Vicarious Visions), and not only QA specialists, vote for the creation of a trade union.

The National Labor Relations Board of the United States (NLRB) indicated that testers earn significantly less than other workers — an average of $42 thousand per year compared to $56-175 thousand. Therefore, testers can be singled out among all and let them make an independent decision.

Activision Blizzard stated that it respects NLRB, but does not agree with its verdict.
