Media: ByteDance continues to cut employees of game studios
According to SCMP, the Chinese company has reduced or transferred to other studios most of the employees of Wushuang Studio. Layoffs at Jiangnan Studio are also reported.
ByteDance did not comment on the media information.
Earlier, Executive Director Liang Rubo announced changes in the business strategy. According to him, now ByteDance will pay much less attention to segments with low profitability.
