Jam City laid off hundreds of employees "in light of the difficult situation in the global economy"

The publisher of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery and Cookie Jam has reduced 17% of the staff, leaving 150-200 people out of work. As Jam City explained, the company had to do so because of the difficulties in the global economy that affected the gaming industry.

The second reason is that Jam City has made a number of purchases in recent years and has now decided to remove the “extra” staff, as well as to restructure.

The company promised to pay compensation to the dismissed and noted that, despite everything, it will remain profitable.
