Media: Playtika is going to close three studios and lay off 250 employees
It looks like another gaming company has decided to massively reduce employees. According to Globes, Israeli Playtika will soon close offices in Los Angeles, London and Montreal. In addition, the mobile publisher is thinking about closing the office in Helsinki.
As a result, the company’s staff will decrease by 6%.
New games that the listed studios have been working on will be canceled. Nevertheless, Playtika believes that what is happening will not seriously affect its business in Israel and Germany, nor will it affect development teams from Ukraine, Belarus, Poland and Romania.
