Vacancies of the week: ZiMAD, Geeky House and WN Media Group are looking for employees

A new selection of gaming vacancies. This week they are wanted: a game designer at ZiMAD, a producer at Geeky House and a recruiter with knowledge of English at WN Media Group.

She has released games like Magic Jigsaw Puzzles, Dig Out! and Magic Cross Stitch. The total downloads of these and other mobile titles of the company exceed 200 million. ZiMAD is currently looking for a middle- or senior-level game designer.

Responsibilities:

  • development of game features, as well as improvement of balance, game mechanics and monetization;
  • drafting concept documents and design documents;
  • support for the implementation of features, participation in regular meetings of the team, communication with designers and programmers;
  • testing and verifying the correctness of the implementation;
  • development of a/b tests to test hypotheses;
  • constant game analysis and analysis of the results of new mechanics;
  • monitoring competitors’ applications and searching for potentially interesting features among games of different genres.

Requirements:

  • experience working on games that have reached release and released in the App Store or Google Play;
  • knowledge and understanding of game metrics: DAU, ARPPU, Retention and others;
  • ability to work with analytical data;
  • English language proficiency at the Upper Intermediate level.

Magic Jigsaw PuzzlesProducer at Geeky House (Remote work)


Geeky House is an international game studio and publishing house.

Its top managers once worked on such titles as MineTap, Merge Evolution and Tiny Island. The company needs an experienced producer to develop a cross-platform mobile blockchain survival.

Responsibilities:

  • conduct research and choose variants of games using blockchain technology for development;
  • form a development team;
  • using CTR tests and prototyping to finalize the product vision;
  • to produce the development and launch of the game.

Requirements:

  • at least five years of experience as a game producer or a leading game designer;
  • the presence in the portfolio of at least one released game that earned more than $ 500 thousand per month;
  • own product vision and understanding of the market;
  • willingness to work only full-time with full immersion in the case.

Recruiter with knowledge of English in WN Media Group (Saint Petersburg, Russia)

WN Media Group is engaged in the development of an ecosystem of projects, which includes the WN Conference business Conference, an online platform for WN Hub events, mass media App2Top.ru and GameWorldObserver.com , as well as the recruitment agency Talents In Games.

The company needs a recruiter who knows the specifics of the IT and game development market well, understands all its features and nuances of professions. Understands where to look for the best specialists in the industry, and is able to find a common language with them.

Responsibilities:

  • search through all sources (hh, LinkedIn, Habr, Behance, etc.);
  • building communication with candidates;
  • communication with representatives of the customer company, withdrawal of the application for selection;
  • creating job descriptions and posting them;
  • conducting interviews and evaluating candidates;
  • putting up an offer and accompanying the exit to work, including the control of the candidate on probation;
  • current and final job analytics;
  • making adjustments to the selection process, if necessary.

Requirements:

  • work experience in IT recruitment from a year is mandatory (experience in gamedev will be an advantage);
  • knowledge of English at least Upper-Intermediate (B2);
  • experience in CRM systems;
  • the ability to pack and “sell” a vacancy to candidates;
  • the ability to “adjust” the search for a vacancy is not to repeat the same actions every time, but to look and choose the selection tools that are suitable in this particular case.
