G5 Entertainment spent $1.5 million to support employees because of what is happening in Ukraine
Swedish publisher G5 Entertainment shared the results for the first three months of 2022. He said that the situation in Ukraine affected the financial performance of the company, nevertheless, the quarter was quite successful.
▪️revenue amounted to $33.6 million — 2% more than a year ago;
▪️Gross profit increased by 16% to $22.4 million;
A record 70.5% of revenue came from G5 Entertainment’s own games: 55.9% were provided by games released after 2019, and another 14.6% were old projects. Sherlock and the Jewels series have once again become one of the most productive titles;
The company’s gaming MAU fell by 11% to 6.2 million people. The DAU has not changed over the year and still stands at 1.8 million people.
