Wargaming employees: most of the layoffs in the Minsk office will take place before the end of May
In early April, Wargaming announced its withdrawal from Russia and Belarus. Recently, the portal dev.by talked to the company’s employees about what is happening now in the Minsk office, which is preparing to close.
As journalists note, the answers turned out to be contradictory.
According to one version, large-scale layoffs are underway (and they also affect foreign workers). Compensation is paid, but according to the principle “the sooner you quit, the more profitable”. At the same time, recruiters promise to help those who take less money with resumes and job search.
Relocation was offered to a maximum of 30% of specialists, and almost all of them moved. By May 31, Wargaming is going to fire everyone else, except for some administrators who will close the office.
According to the second version, the remaining employees in Belarus will not be fired, but will be re-registered to another legal entity associated with Lesta Studio.
