Vacancies of the week: Dankolab, Daily Magic and WN Media Group are looking for employees

We are publishing a new list with gaming vacancies. This week they are wanted: a data analyst at Dankolab, a senior-level C++ developer at Daily Magic and an editor of a B2B publication (App2Top.ru ) in WN Media Group.

Dankolab is a Novosibirsk—based mobile developer with a portfolio of more than 100 projects for iOS and Android.

Now the company is looking for a data analyst.

Responsibilities:

• collect and validate reports, find insights in data;
• configure dashboards to monitor key marketing indicators;
• participate in the development of the LTV model.

Requirements:

• good knowledge of SQL and Python;
• love of big data analytics;
• the experience of working with Tableau, as well as experience in game development, will be a plus.

Daily Magic is a subsidiary of Playrix, which has been developing games since 2009. For about eight years she worked with the Hiddens under Big Fish. Later, the studio made VR games and visual novels, and now it is engaged in the development of top Playrix projects.

Daily Magic is looking for an experienced team leader who confidently solves problems in C++, knows how to develop and guide the team.

Responsibilities:

• regular design-review and code-review for programmers;
• assistance to the technical director in planning, organizing development processes, solving operational issues and developing auxiliary tools for work;
• task management of programmers and QA department;
• working within mini-teams, interacting with the project team;
• design and development of game architecture components, development of new gameplay features of the project;
• replacement of the technical director during the absence.

Requirements:

• commercial experience in C++ from two years;
• good knowledge of modern C++ standards (smart pointers, template functions and classes, data structure);
• practical knowledge of code optimization;
• experience in game development;
• managerial experience in working with programmers and QA specialists, experience in team organization and control of development processes;
• advanced experience with version control systems, Git;
• experience in team development or project work;
• knowledge of LUA and experience with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity or Cocos) will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• write news based on English-language sources;
• check the received facts and data;
• design and publish materials;
• in the future: search for information guides.

Requirements:

• speak English at a level not lower than Upper intermediate;
• be well-versed in the grammar and rules of the Russian language;
• work experience in a commercial publication (preferably in gaming or business journalism);
• to understand the gaming industry (to be interested in who makes games and how, on what principle the gaming market lives, to know the leaders, to be ready to dive into this topic);
• know the theory and principles of editing;
• take responsibility for your tasks, work quickly and accurately with large amounts of information, want to develop and learn new things.
