Vacancies of the week: employees are looking for Playrix, Zeptolab and Matryoshka Games

There are new vacancies in the gaming industry. This week they are wanted: a leading game designer at Playrix, a UA manager at Matryoshka Games and a leading game designer at Zeptolab.

Marina LopatinaSenior Game Designer (Mini Games) in Playrix (Remote Work)

Playrix is a large developer company known all over the world. She has such top titles as Homescapes and Gardenscapes on her account. Now Playrix is looking for a leading game designer to join the team for a position in the marketing department. The employee will have to create mini-games for interactive advertising of the studio’s key projects.

Responsibilities:

  • participate in the formation of a common vision and specific features;
  • write technical tasks for interactive marketing creatives (playable ads) and mini-games;
  • conduct a full cycle of creative production, ensure a unified vision and synchronization of all participants;
  • participate in the generation of ideas;
  • follow market trends and the retrospective of interactive creatives.

Requirements:

  • work experience as a lead game designer or producer;
  • availability of a portfolio of released games;
  • systematic thinking, the ability to correctly formulate and communicate your thoughts orally and in writing.

GardenscapesUA and monetization manager in Matryoshka Games (Remote work)

Matryoshka Games is a developer of casual mobile games. The company consists of more than a hundred specialists from different cities of Russia. Famous studio games: Cooking Craze, Rescue Dash, Mega Farm, Idle Mars, Farming Fever, Cooking Live.

Now Matryoshka Games is looking for a manager in the purchasing and advertising monetization department. We have to work on new studio projects — Rescue Dash, Cooking Live and Farming Fever.

Responsibilities:

  • launch and optimize advertising campaigns;
  • analyze the effectiveness of launched campaigns, achievement of set KPIs;
  • test and analyze advertising creatives;
  • negotiate with purchasing and monetization partners;
  • work with advertising mediation and monetization;
  • work closely with the analytics department, creatives, and ASO department.

Requirements:

  • work experience in game development in a similar position for at least a year;
  • purchase experience in Facebook, Google Ads, as well as one or more Video Networks/DSP (Unity, Applovin, Vungle, Liftoff, ironSource, etc.);
  • experience working with traffic attribution systems.

Rescue DashSenior Game Designer (NEW GAMES) in Zeptolab (Remote work)

Zeptolab is looking for an experienced game designer for new games. The studio is known for such major projects as Cut the Rope, CATS, King of Thieves and Bullet Echo. In this position, you can work remotely or in the office, the company also helps with relocation to Barcelona.

Responsibilities:

  • lead a small group of developers (from the creation of an early prototype to a global release);
  • work closely with the product manager (create a project roadmap with him, work on new functionality, improve metrics);
  • maintain documentation and set tasks for developers and artists;
  • generate new ideas;
  • work with data together with an analyst and a product manager;
  • give feedback to game designers on their projects, work with feedback received on their own project;
  • be aware of what is happening in the mobile industry.

Requirements:

  • at least 3 years of experience as a game designer in mobile games;
  • experience in developing systems and game mechanics;
  • deep understanding of the specifics of mobile freeplay games;
  • experience in working on project documentation;
  • willingness to work in distributed teams;
  • excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • fluent english;
  • great interest in games, including casual and midcore mobile titles.
